Hi VijayThanks for the advice, but unfortunatley I couldn't do any of the suggestions as my keyboard would only operate in the BIOS and as soon as Windows kicked in, both the mouse and the keyboard (and any external keyboards I tried wouldn't work.)I did try swapping the hard disk into another touchscreen dell xps but couldn't get that to recognise the drive.Anyway I did manage to resolve the problem - not sure this will work for everyone but it may help some.1. The option to roll back is available on screen but without keyboard and mouse i can't get to the option so it just ends up bootingback into the technical preview without me able to change anything.i've tried external usb keyboard and mouse (rebooted after attaching both) and still no input at all from either.standard dell keyboard and synaptics touchpad64 bitany ideas or suggestions pleasethanksguy. No windows key etc.unfortunately its not a touchscreen either!!if i reboot and put into safe mode i can't choose to roll back either as the countdown just takes me back to technical preview.
